Toss
Team West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first.
First Innings
Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique came onto the screen as opening batsman. Saim Ayub, as usual started aggressively. He edged and the ball flew past leaping the right hand of the fielder for a four. He followed that up with a beautiful drive for a four on the fifth delivery of the 2nd over. In fourth over, Abdullah Shafique showcasing his class went for a drive and secured four runs.
In fifth over, Saim slapped the ball while standing still for a four. He followed that up with a drive into the gap for four runs on the last ball of the same over. However, in the 6th over, Saim Ayub shuffled the ball for a beautiful Six and secured first maximum of the innings. Abdullah Shafique, also contributed a boundary of four runs on fourth deliver of the eighth over.

However in 9th over, Saim edged a length delivery and the ball went straight towards the right of Justin Greaves at the slip. Saim Ayub scored 23 runs facing off 31 deliveries with the help of 4 fours and a six.
Babar Azam’s Entry and Departure
On the last delivery of the 9th over, Babar Azam who just came into the batting attack a few deliveries earlier, he looked to the drive and played all around it. The ball went into the bottom of middle and off stump missing the inside edge of the bat. Babar went to the pavilion on a golden duck.
Meanwhile Abdullah on the other end, continued building momentum and smashed the ball for a four in the 12th over. Muhammad Rizwan who joined Abdullah Shafique on Babar‘s Departure, followed that up with a four in the 16th over. After 16 overs, team Pakistan was standing at 60 runs for the loss of two wickets.

However, Abdullah Shafique‘s innings came to an end when he did not have enough room to play pull shot ,but he went for that. The fielder from the fine leg stepped forward, and took the catch. Abdullah Shafique scored 26 runs facing off 40 deliveries with the help of 3 fours. This loss pushed the pressure again towards Pakistani team.
To overcome the loss, Hussain Talat joined Muhammad Rizwan on the crease. Muhammad Rizwan after building some momentum, went to play a shot in the 19th over and secured a boundary of four runs. Meanwhile , Talat also showcasing his class hammered the ball for a four in the 21st over. After 21 overs, team Pakistan was standing at 88 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.
2 Crucial wickets’s loss for team Pakistan
In 22nd over, Gudakesh Motie came into the bowling attack from West Indies. Unfortunately, for team Pakistan, Rizwan was given out by the umpire when team West Indies appealed for an LBW on the very first delivery of Motie’s over. Rizwan secured 16 runs facing off 38 deliveries.

2nd Innings
Even Lewis and Brandon King took an aggressive start of West Indies‘s innings by smashing a four on the 2nd delivery of the very first over. From the other end, King followed that up with a four on the last delivery of the first over. On the fourth delivery of the first over, King went for a flick, missed it and the ball went towards the boundary for a four passing by the keeper.

Shai Hope’s entry
Shai Hope took the responsibility into his hands and played the third ball of the same over for a four. The early fall of wickets of both opening players quite slowed down West India‘s run rate and they managed to score only 30 runs in 10 overs.
However, in the 11th over, Shai Hope slapped the ball for four runs. This was a most awaited boundary from the team West Indies. Keacy Carty followed that up with a four in the next over. Unfortunately, Keacy Carty got bowled in the 13th over. Abrar Ali succeeded in breaking the partnership for the third wicket. Keacy Carty scored 16 runs facing off 42 deliveries.
