Power-Play
Brandon King and Evin Lewis opened up the innings for West Indies. King closed the first over with a four with the help of an inside edge. Lewis followed it up with a four on the 2nd delivery of the second over.

For the 11th over, Pakistan team took another review. Unfortunately, for team Pakistan, this review was lost as well. In the 13 over, Lewis went for a boundary and secured a Six on the 3rd delivery. He followed that up with another Six on the last delivery of the same over. However, in the very next over, Lewis tried to play for another big shot in the over of Abrar Ahmad, but the ball ran out of distance and got caught by Muhammad Haris on the boundary. Lewis scored 37 runs facing off 54 deliveries.
Another Wicket for Abrar
In the 20th over, Abrar struck again and managed to dismissal Keacy Carty with LBW decision. On the out decision of umpire, Keacy went straight for a review. Unfortunately, the review lost for the West Indies they lost another wicket. Keacy Carty scored 17 runs on 45 deliveries. At the end of 20th over, West Indies were at 69 for the loss of 3 wickets.
Rutherford’s Entry
To overcome the loss, Rutherford came into the crease. After gaining some momentum, he closed the 21st over with a cracking four. Shai Hope also kept on building momentum slowly indicating that he was on a mission. He closed the 25 over with a much needed boundary. He followed it up with another four on the last delivery of the 26th over. On the fourth ball of the 27th over, he secured another four with a pulling the ball over the mid-wicket.
Fourth loss for West Indies
However, in the 31st over, Saim Ayub went withdraw another wicket for team Pakistan. Rutherford tried to play for the flatter delivery for a boundary by going deep into the crease, but the ball gained more height then the distance, as a result, Talat took the catch. Rutherford scored 15 runs facing off 40 deliveries. At this point, West Indies were at 115 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
From the other end, Shai Hope slowly kept on scoring. He went for a big shot on the 2nd delivery and and secured a much awaited Six for his team. Roston Chase who came into the crease a few deliveries earlier, also joined the party and played for a four on the 3rd delivery of the 34th over. Shai Hope followed it up with another four to close the over.

Wicket in the First over
Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique came on the crease for opening up the innings of team Pakistan.
